The Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is an admissions test administered by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, that allows admission to Undergraduate Engineering (BE) programs at three campuses in Pilani, Goa . Carried out. and Hyderabad. Admission to BE, BPHarm, and MSc programs is offered to candidates after qualifying for entrance exams. The exam is administered online and approximately 3,000 students apply for the entrance exam each year.

Candidates must go through the following details regarding BITSAT Exam Pattern:
Exam Mode: The only format for BITSAT 2022 will be online (computer-based).
No. of questions: The exam paper consists of 130 questions in total.
Medium: The test will be administered in English only.
Sections: There will be four sections or portions to the question paper.
Time Duration: Candidates have three hours, or 180 minutes, to complete the exam.
Marking scheme: Each accurate response will receive three points, while each erroneous response will lose one point.

There were several steps in the BITSAT 2023 application procedure. It was crucial that the applicant followed each of the steps listed below in order to properly fill out the application form:
Registration: Candidates had to register in the first step by giving a working email address and mobile number. The BITS Pilani used the same for all communications pertaining to exams.
Filling out the form: Candidates have to fill out the online BITSAT 2023 application form with their personal, communication, and academic information after successfully registering. Additionally, candidates had to rank their top three choices for exam locations.
Uploading of documents: Candidates had to upload scanned versions of their identification documents in the required format, including their signatures and photos.
Payment of application fee: Students had to pay the BITSAT 2023 application fee online using net banking, credit or debit cards, or UPI after completing all the information and uploading the required papers.
Submitting BITSAT application form: Students had to submit their application after paying their fees. Prior to submission, they had to double-check all the information and supporting documentation.
Students could reserve a date, time, and slot for the BITSAT 2023 entrance exam through the slot booking system. Candidates had to provide their application number and password to log in to the official website in order to reserve a seat.
The BITSAT 2023 admission cards for the first session and second session will be made available by BITS Pilani on June 25 and July 31, respectively. Only after reserving an exam slot is the hall ticket available for download. Because without it, candidates cannot take the exam, the BITSAT 2023 hall ticket is a crucial document.
Iterations are used to conduct the counselling for BITSAT. Candidates could submit their preferences till September 8 for BITSAT counselling 2022. After each round, the institute will publish an admissions list and a waitlist. Iterations of six rounds of BITSAT counselling will take place. Regardless of their BITSAT Score, all students who placed first in their respective State/Central board exams will receive direct admission.
The second session's BITSAT 2022 results were made public on August 9. Candidates can view their results in the form of a scorecard in the BITSAT result 2022. Using their application number and password, the candidates must log in before they can download their BITSAT 2022 scorecard. Only applicants who meet the minimal requirements for eligibility will be allowed to take part in the BITSAT 2022 counselling. Based on the candidates' BITSAT 2022 scores, the merit position of eligible candidates will be created. The BITSAT 2022 scorecard for the first session was made public on July 10.

The qualifying requirements for taking the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT 2023) are listed below.
Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics on their class 12 test from an accredited Central or State board or its equivalent. Candidates must have a sufficient level of English proficiency. Candidates should have received a minimum of 75% overall in the areas of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with at least 60% in each of those courses.
Candidates must have passed the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections of the class 12 examination from an accredited Central or State board, or its equivalent. Candidates must have a sufficient level of English proficiency. Candidates for the Pharmacy programme at BITS campuses can, however, also apply if they earned a PCMB in Class 12. Candidates must have received a minimum of 60% in each of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math, if they are PCMB students: for a total score of at least 75% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Math.
The BITSAT 2023 is only open to students who will be taking the Class 12 exam in 2023 or who passed in 2021. Students are NOT qualified to take the BITSAT in 2023 if they passed their Class 12 exam in 2020 or earlier. If a candidate attempted the 12th grade or its equivalent more than once, only his or her most recent performance will be taken into account, provided that this attempt included all of the specified topics and courses. Students who are enrolled in one of the BITS institutions right now are unable to take the BITSAT in 2023. Admissions will only be granted based solely on merit. Based on the candidate's performance on the BITSAT 2023, the merit position of the candidate for admission is determined. However, as was said above, they must obtain the necessary minimum marks in the Class 12 board exam in order to be eligible for admission.
