The Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced is an academic examination held in India annually. The Joint Admission Board (JAB) oversees it, and it is conducted by one of the seven zonal IITs (IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati) for JEE-Main qualifying applicants (exempted for Foreign Candidates).

For JEE (Advanced) 2022, all candidates must concurrently satisfy all five of the following requirements.
Candidates must rank among the top 2,50,000 scorers in the B.E./B.Tech. Paper of the JEE (Main) 2022 exam (across all categories). The percentages of the different candidate groups that will be shortlisted are as follows: 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is open for everyone. There is a 5% horizontal reservation available for PwD candidates within each of these five categories.
The candidate's date of birth must have been on or after October 1, 1998. Candidates who are SC, ST, or PwD are given a five-year age reduction; therefore, they must have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
A candidate will be able to attempt JEE Advanced twice in each of two succeeding years.
A candidate should have taken the Class XII (or equivalent) test for the first time in the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in either 2022 or 2023. Candidates who first took the Class XII (or equivalent) test in 2021 or earlier are NOT eligible to take the JEE (Advanced) in 2023 unless they are covered by the one-time special measure outlined below.
Regardless of whether the applicant persisted in the program or accepted an IIT seat by reporting "online" or at a "reporting center" in the past, the applicant should NOT have been admitted to an IIT. Candidates who joined an IIT after having their admission to an IIT revoked (for whatever reason) are likewise unable to take the JEE (Advanced) 2023 exam.

The IIT JEE Advanced official website (https://jeeadv.ac.in) will likely provide the JEE Advanced Admit Card 2023 admit cards online in the final week of August 2023. Applicants might need to enter information such as their DOB, application number, and security PIN to download their JEE Advanced 2023 admit card. The admit card for candidates must be printed in color and accompanied by a color passport-sized photo. The name of the candidates, their roll numbers, the location of the exam facility, and other details will be listed on the admit card.
The results will be made available on the JEE Advanced official website. By the month of September 2023, the results of the JEE JEE Advanced 2023 are anticipated to be released. By logging into their registered accounts, candidates can access and download their JEE Advanced scorecard for 2023.
